For the past ten years Dave Moreno has been on tour all over the world the past decade as a member of multi-platinum selling artist, Puddle of Mudd, playing all the hits, Blurry, Psycho, She Hates Me, Famous, Drift and Die, Uh Oh, Control, Stoned,
We Don’t Have To Look Back Now, and many more. Dave has also played, toured and recorded with many other national and local artists. He continues to do to this day, via his studio or at top studios in his hometown of Los Angeles or abroad. He began playing drums at the age of 11 and by the age of 15, Dave played his first gig on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, Ca. at the world famous Whisky A-Go-Go. After
graduating Kennedy High School he attended The Dick Grove School of Music and graduated from the Percussion Program. There he studied intensely with the best music teachers in the business, studying many genres of music including rock, pop, hip hop, funk, jazz, metal, fusion, big band, orchestra, disco, country, latin and r&b. He also studied hand percussion, ear training and music theory. Through many years of studying and performing he has become an accomplished and versatile drummer known to play many different styles of music.
Dave has toured and/or recorded all over the U.S. and overseas with many major artists, performing in stadiums, arenas, and major festivals with Artists like legendary metal singer Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, Warner Bros. Recording Artist Earshot, Atlantic Recording Artist Operator, JVC/Victor Recording Artist Tribe of Gypsies, Dizzy Reed of Guns N Roses, Love/Hate, Steve Stevens of Billy Idol, Judas Priest, Rob Rock, Ice T’s Bodycount, Phil Lewis of L.A. Guns, Vampiro X-Mana, Belinda, Maria Jose, Christian Castro, Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Brian Howe (Bad Company), Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night) and many others. He has recorded over 100 records, including karaoke and instructional play along c.d.s., as well as movie soundtracks and television commercials. In 2008, Dave played studio drums on the theme song to the Emmy award winning television show “Dr. Phil”, which ran for 5 seasons.
In the studio, Dave has also had the pleasure of working with legendary producers like David Kahne (Paul McCartney, Sugar Ray), Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones), Johnny K (Disturbed, 3 Doors Down), Richie Podoler (Three Dog Night, Michelle Branch), Bill Appleberry (The Wallflowers, Puddle of Mudd), Roy Z (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson), Greg Hampton (Alice Cooper, Lita Ford) and many more. He once was called in to replace legendary drummer Josh Freese’s drum tracks (Foo Fighters) for a rock band on Atlantic records at the time. Dave also owns and operates a full production Recording Studio in Los Angeles where he produces, records, and mixes independent and national artists, as well as film and television. He also uses the studio to teach and record drum sessions for different artists.

When Dave is not on tour you will find him recording in the studio, teaching students, or perhaps giving a percussion master class at a college, or just simply practicing his craft. He also sings lead vocal as well as back up, plays guitar and piano, composes and records his own compositions, sometimes collaborating with other songwriters.
